What is Co-Employment?
The Professional Employers Organization (PEO) contractually shares the employer responsibilities. This relationship provides the business foundation opening up the full spectrum of Nationwide Human Resources benefits and expert human resource staff to flow through to your "Worksite Employees". As the "Worksite Employer" you continue directing the daily duties and responsibilities of the workforce. As the "Employer of Record" Nationwide Human Resources provides and manages human resource issues, payroll processing, tax filing, W-2?s, unemployment claims, multiple benefit plans, compliance, safety & risk management and workers compensation insurance.

What is a PEO?
A Professional Employers Organization (PEO) provides extensive, comprehensive and affordable variety of services and benefit plans under a Co-Employment relationship.

What is an ASO?
An Administrative Service Organization (ASO) provides standard payroll processing offering the full spectrum of services and benefits on a contractual a-la-carte basis. The "Employer of Record" relationship DOES NOT exist in this business model, however the ASO contract allows the flow through of Nationwide Human Resources administration, services and benefits on a per services and fees structure. A great option for Non-Profit Organizations.

What is the difference? PEO vs. ASO
The PEO relationship is based upon the business foundation of Co-Employment, where the PEO becomes the "Employer of Record". This provides a sharing of liability and responsibility between Nationwide Human Resources and the Client.

The ASO relationship is based upon an offering of services and benefits on an a-la-carte basis. The relationship between Nationwide Human Resources and the Client is very similar to that of a standard payroll processing offering a service for fee structure.
